I picked up my William Painter sunglasses mostly for driving and trips to the beach, and they’ve been great. When it’s crazy bright out, I’m not sitting there squinting the whole time like, why is the sun attacking me?? The lenses really do make a difference.
They also feel really sturdy, not like those cheap sunglasses that feel like they’ll snap if you look at them wrong. They were a little heavier than I expected at first, but I got used to it quickly, and now I end up wearing them almost every day.

I do like these sunglasses overall. They feel sturdy in the hand, the hinges don’t have that cheap wobbly feel, and the lenses sit evenly, which I weirdly always notice right away. Shipping was totally fine too, and the packaging arrived clean without any crushed corners or anything annoying like that.
That said, for the price, I kind of expected just a little more. They’re nice and I’ll definitely wear them, but I kept looking at the finish around the frames and thinking, “Hmm, these are good, but are they really that much?” If you love the style, I get it, but personally I’d wait for a sale next time.

I been using my William Painter sunglasses for a few months now, and I’m happy with them. They feel sturdy and not like those cheap flimsy ones, and the lenses was really clear from day one. I’m not exactly gentle with my stuff, but they still looks good so far. They do cost more than some other pairs, but they feel like they’re gonna last a long time.

Ouch. These are nice overall, but the nose pads could definitely be softer. After wearing them for a while, they start to pinch a bit. Annoying.

I don’t know why people act like support always takes forever, because they replied to me really quickly and got my issue sorted out without making it a whole thing. Worked fine for me.

These are really solid for the money :) They feel nice, look good, and don’t come off cheap at all. I’m happy with them!

I picked up a pair from William Painter mainly for driving and beach days, the polarization is ridiculous. It cuts down the glare off cars and the water way better than my old sunglasses ever did. Colors still look normal too, not weirdly dark or distorted. I’ve been wearing them pretty much every day and I’m really happy with them so far.

The frames do feel solid without being too heavy, and the finish is smooth. They definitely seem like decent material when I’m wearing them. I will say I’m always a bit skeptical about how stuff like this holds up over time, so that’s still in the back of my mind, but first impression is good.

Well... my sunglasses ended up getting a loose arm after a while, so I filled out the warranty form not really expecting much. They replied quickly and sent me a replacement without any hassle. it was way easier than I thought it would be...

I do think these glasses look good, and the shape is actually cool. At first I was like, okay, these are fun, but then wearing them felt a little too flashy for my usual style. They’re not bad at all, they’re stylish — just not quite what I thought they’d look like from the pictures...

Got my pair from williampainter.com and yeah, overall I’m happy with them. They’ve got a really solid feel in the hand, kinda like they’re actually built to last, and the fit on my face is good too. They don’t slide around much, which is always a win.
The only thing I noticed is they’re a bit heavier than my old sunglasses. Not crazy heavy or anything, but after wearing them most of the day I can def feel it a little. Still like them a lot, just something I’m getting used to. 4 stars from me.
